BRIJ Travel (the “Service”) is operated by BRIJ Digital Inc., a Delaware corporation (“BRIJ”, “we”, “us”). The Service comprises the web application at brij.fi and the programmatic API at travel.brij.fi — flight search and booking paid in USDC on the Solana network: per request over the x402 payment protocol on the API, and by direct USDC transfer into the booking escrow on the web application. By using the website, calling any endpoint of the Service, or directing an automated agent to do so, you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
The Service exposes paid API endpoints to search live flight inventory, create an escrow-backed booking intent, fund that escrow and execute a booking, and file refund requests. Flights are fulfilled through third-party travel infrastructure providers and the operating airline. The contract of carriage is between the passenger and the operating airline; BRIJ acts as a technical intermediary that arranges the booking. Airline fare rules, baggage rules, and conditions of carriage apply to every ticket.
3. Payments and fees
All payments are made in USDC on Solana. On the API they travel via the x402 protocol, with per-request service fees (for search, intent creation, and refund requests) that are non-refundable once settled. On the web application, searching is free within rate limits and the booking is paid by a direct USDC transfer from your wallet into the per-intent escrow. In both cases a payment that has settled on-chain is final.
Prices are quoted dynamically in each payment challenge and may change between requests, including with load-based multipliers on search.
The booking payment equals the intent’s quoted escrow amount, which includes the airline fare and BRIJ’s booking fee. Of the amounts you pay, only BRIJ’s booking fee and the per-request service fees are BRIJ’s own charges for its intermediation service. The airline fare portion is collected by BRIJ acting as agent for onward payment towards the airline through its travel infrastructure provider, and is inclusive of the taxes, fees and surcharges that the airline collects and remits. It is paid into a per-intent on-chain escrow whose payout destinations are fixed at intent creation.
4. Escrow and refunds
If the airline fare changes between intent creation and booking execution, the booking is rejected and the escrow is refunded automatically to the refund wallet recorded at intent creation.
If a booking intent expires before its escrow is funded, the intent becomes unusable; create a new intent from a fresh offer.
Escrow funds attached to an expired or failed booking are returnable only to the refund wallet fixed at intent creation. This destination cannot be changed afterwards, by you or by us.
Refund requests filed through the API are reviewed manually and are not a guarantee of refund. Ticket refundability after issuance is governed by the airline’s fare rules.
5. Your responsibilities
Provide accurate passenger details. Airlines may deny boarding for mismatched documents, and correction after ticketing may be impossible or subject to airline fees.
Treat the intent_id and the customer support code as secrets. They are capability tokens: anyone holding them can read or act on the booking. They are returned once and cannot be re-read later.
You are responsible for all requests signed by your wallet and for the behaviour of any automated agent you operate against the Service, including payments it makes.
Use the Service only in compliance with applicable law, and do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the Service or its payment mechanisms.
By using the Service you represent that you are not a person, and are not acting on behalf of a person, designated on any sanctions list (including the U.S. OFAC SDN list and the consolidated lists of the EU, UK, and UN); that you are not located in, and are not booking travel to or from, a territory subject to comprehensive sanctions; and that the funds you pay with do not derive from any such person or territory. We screen payment addresses and itineraries against these restrictions and refuse transactions that fail them.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, and we depend on third parties we do not control: flight inventory providers, airlines, payment facilitators, and the Solana network. Blockchain transactions are irreversible by nature; verify amounts and addresses before signing.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BRIJ’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the total service fees you paid to BRIJ in the twelve months preceding the claim. BRIJ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, nor for losses caused by airlines, inventory providers, payment facilitators, network congestion, or the acts of your own agent or wallet software. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Changes and termination
We may modify or discontinue the Service, its pricing, or these Terms at any time. The Terms in force at the time a request is made govern that request. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. We may refuse service to any wallet or party at our discretion, including for suspected abuse or fraud.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
